Black to Reality School Tour Program

Our Black To Reality School Tour Program focuses on helping students in urban communities understand the value and importance of black culture in America. Every school year we select a different school to attend once a month. During our time at each school we set up demonstrations for the students to educate them. Every assembly we focus on 5 areas of black culture past and present. Black History where we introduce to the students someone that they may not have heard of before who played a role in elevating the culture. Black Economics; teaching the students the importance of black businesses and spending money in black communities. Black Self Love; teaching students the importance of loving themselves and others. The Value of Black Communities; teaching students to understand the value of black communities and why it's so important to take care of their own neighborhoods. Lastly The Importance of The Black Vote, teaching students to understand that their voice and their vote matters. We do this once a month for 9 months each school year in 9 different inner city schools.This program furthers our exempt purpose by Encouraging Self Sufficiency through self pride & education. Touching on Self, Community & Financial Accountability.
