Elite Young Queens
Is our Women lead youth program dedicated to the important task of expanding leadership & growth within our young teen girls. We are committed to helping them understand & believe in their own individual power by goal setting and self esteem building activities. In addition to gaining community service hours that puts them on the track to graduation outside of the program, our young Queens are also taught real life skills by experienced professionals & community leaders. Most of which are of similar background in the Metro Detroit area. Many teens have goals but don't know the road to take in order to achieve them. Having a solid support system makes finding the right path as simple as making a phone call. As the weeks progress, there is an added bonus of accountability from their peers as we go over the 5 levels of accountability and set intentional direction with their community big sisters. Fostering new relationships & new mindsets of sisterhood among the group. Each week of EYQ touches on important layers of growth & success. From mirror activities extinguishing limiting beliefs to a group Interview with a local entrepreneur. By the end of the program all of our participants leave feeling empowered & ready to conquer the world!
This activity is conducted by the Women of NECC & women entrepreneurs at each cycle's chosen school.
This program furthers our purpose by encouraging the promotion of self sufficiency through bright minds in our community based on Self, Financial & Community Accountability in our Mudroots concept.
