Juneteenth Freedom Celebration
This event takes place each year on June 19th! Our organization hosts a big outdoor barbecue with a live DJ, Food, Drinks, Games, & an educational movie night when the sun sets. The goal is to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US and educate the community on the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.
This program furthers our exempt purpose by encouraging self sufficiency through historical Education and community accountability from our Mudroots Concept.
