New Era’s Free Political Education Class
Our Political education class was created to educate the community on the importance of politics, especially city & state elections. We don't focus on politicians directly but the seats that politicians hold so that the community has a better understanding of roles and the accountability required for each seat. Our goal is to break down political duties in their simplest terms so that when it's time to vote on a particular politician they are aware of what they will be accountable for essentially making more accurate and educated voting.
This program is conducted by local community members, elected officials & attorneys experienced with politics.
This activity furthers our exempt purpose by using Political Accountability from our Mudroots concept. Promoting self sufficiency by making sure that people in the community have what's needed to vote.
