Streets Is Watching
Our Streets Is Watching program serves as our community policing program. Crime in the inner city is relentless and the fact of the matter is most of the time when the police are called, it's after a crime is already committed. The purpose of our Streets Is Watching Program is to have visible body's out in high crime areas during critical times of the day. We focus primarily on the protection of women, children, & elders patrolling throughout different high crime communities keeping an eye out for women or kids walking the streets, single mothers who may be arriving home for the night, elders taking out the trash, etc. This activity furthers our exempt purpose by creating an environment of self sufficiency in our communities by having the people who live in the areas that we patrol get involved.
